Hidden among the peaks of the Rubyon Range, among modern giants, you will find one of the Gothic jewels of the Anoia.

Rubió Castle is enclosed between the ancient castles of Maçana and Ardesa, but the latter, as early as the 11th century, is too exposed. Rubió becomes a perfect space, not only to control Rubió's plan, Odena's Basin and Segarra, but also the millenary step of the old scaffolding path connecting Baix Llobregat to Segarra calafina, a step flanked by megalithic dolmens.

In Cardona's orbit, Rubyon's Castilians succeed among the great Anoenian lineages: Claramunt, Calders, Castellolí... All had a role, but perhaps the most important was that of a woman: Francesca de Timor left an indelible footprint that you can only discover in the fortified church of Santa Maria.
